Porthleven Beach

Porthleven’s sandy beach is located to the side of the harbour wall. Parking and amenities are located in the village of Porthleven itself. While the beach is a good size, at low tide it is also possible to walk along as far as Loe Bar.

Access to the beach is via a slipway just past the harbour wall or a flight of steps slightly further along.

Dogs are banned from a section of Porthleven beach from the harbour wall to the flight of steps known as the Blue Bouy steps. The ban applies from Easter Day until the beginning of October between the hours of 7am and 7pm.

RNLI lifeguard cover is daily between 6th July and 8th September.
