Play Areas

There are plenty of hidden little play parks in and around the residential areas of Helston, with the most popular being by the boating pond (Coronation Lake) at the bottom of town.

Recently built, there is a colourful array of climbing frames for little ones, set next to swings and a skate ramp. Follow this up with feeding the birdlife in the adjacent pond (where small boats can be hired) and finish up with tea and a bun in the café.

For rainy days, on the opposite side of town is One to Eleven, part of the famous Flambards theme park, which offers an inexpensive soft play area for children of all ages – ball pits and jumbo slides, tunnels and climbing nets, with space around the outside for adults to watch in peace and enjoy the offerings of the café.
